Hunting

Jesse is definately falling into his fathers footsteps! Since they have been out of school this week I think he has been hunting every single day. He is seven? Isn't that a bit much for a seven year old? He is so excited about it and I guess it's good for him. Keeps him outside and busy and gives him that quality time with his dad. Jake is a little young still I think to really get into it. He had rather go to Walmart in hopes for a toy!!! It's amazing how a couple of years can make a huge difference in toys. Jesse is not interested in toys at all. He would rather have things to do with baseball, football, or hunting than anything else. Don't get me wrong he is definately into his video games too. He has gotten to deer this week, with both being bucks! He got a spike and a five point, but he's still hoping for something bigger! Of course I have pictures!! This is just of one of them I haven't loaded my other ones on the computer yet. As you can see, Jake does want to be right there in it for the pictures!!! Congratulations Jesse!

Great Weekend....

Well, it's been a great weekend! Friday night me and the boys hung out at home and it was so nice not to have anything to do! Saturday morning we got up and went to the Air Show. One of my best friends, Misty, works out at the airport so we had some special treatment. That's always nice! Thanks Misty! We had a great time, but had to leave so Jesse could go hunting and we could catch the football games. Jesse did not see anything this weekend, but plans to keep going strong! He's looking forward to being out the week of Thanksgiving so he can spend some time hunting with his daddy and grandaddy. I watched the Auburn game with one of my favorite guys and then of course we had to watch the Alabama game. Even though I am an Alabama fan, I have to say Auburn has done an awesome job this year! It will be interesteing to watch them play the tide in a couple of weeks! Roll Tide! Today was a usual Sunday for us. We got up and went to church this morning and after church we come home and did nothing at the house and it was nice. It's always nice to take a break from going! We went back to church tonight. The kids had play practice and I started a new class we are having on Sunday nights. Thanks to my other bestie Tami who took the iniative to start this class for us. You done a great job tonight! After church tonight we went and ate at the Mexican restaraunt with Tami and her wonderful daughter Jamie! Of course, I have posted pics of some of our time this weekend. Jake however; wanted NO part of having his picture made with the airplanes!

I can't end without telling you what Jake said tonight when the preacher got done preaching. You know how after the sermon before the invitation the preacher will pray? Well, we are praying everybody has there head down and Jake whispers really loud "mama"... I looked up at him and was like "shhhh.........." he said in a very loud whisper "Do you know my Jesus?" it was so funny!! Kids are so sweet and innoccent sometimes. Everybody around us laughed, how could you not?? Hope everybody has a great Monday tommorrow!

Catch Up....

Well, it's been so long since I've had a chance to blog so hopefully I can catch you up! I went to a Trunk show at Amanda Ellison's house Thursday night and me, Toyia and Amanda were talking about blogging and I told Toyia I would try to get started back :) It seems life is getting busier and faster everyday. Where does all the time go? Both my boys are in school this year and loving every minute of it. Jesse tends to run his mouth a little much (reckon who he gets that from??)and Jake well he's just Jake! Jesse has decided that he loves reading and has been on the ball this year. Jake also is very excited about learning to read! I'm still working ALL THE TIME!! I work full time in Evergreen and part time in Andalusia. I also, sell Advocare and have several other things going on. I love my job in the medical field tho, it is very rewarding to me. You definately have to have a heart for it tho! Jake is going to play Upward basketball this year and is very excited since he really has not been old enough to play anything before. Jesse is only interested in baseball and football, so he will not be playing Upward this year. Jesse is so excited about the weekend coming up and his first hunting adventures for the year with his rifle. So, hopefully he will be getting his second buck this year! Last year was his first time killing one and I believe it was a spike! He's hoping for something bigger this time!! Well, it's hard to believe Christmas is right around the corner and Thanksgiving well it's here. I can't believe it, but I'm almost done with my christmas shopping!! Just have a few more things to pick up! The boys have been somewhat difficult this year. They can't tell me anything they want. I guess when you have it all, what else is there? They have it made, when I was growing up you didn't get all through the year, you just got your toys and stuff from Santa. I did talk to them about only gettin three gifts this year like the wise men took to Jesus and we're still having a hard time! I want them to understand the true meaning of Christmas and know that it's not all about Santa! Well, I know I have rambled about a little bit of everything, but just trying to catch you up! Hopefully,I will not get this far behind before I get a chance to blog again! Well, the weekend is here and I hope everyone has a great weekend!! Roll Tide/War Eagle!!!!
