Great Weekend....

Super weekend! Why do they end so quickly??? Friday night I took the boys to the Opp ballgame, they absolutely had a blast! Last year they both were so shy and would not have anything to do with Opie and this year they would not leave him alone. It's amazing what a year does! Saturday morning I went to the beach and it was so much fun! Saturday night we went and ate at Hooters and watched the wrestling match that was on pay-per-view. Did I tell you we had some awesome buffalo shrimp??? My absolute favorite, yummy!!! Sunday we went to Pier Park and shopped around. We went to Margaritaville and we also went and ate at Dirty Dicks!! Dirty Dicks was wonderful. I don't know if you have ever eaten there, but you should definately try it. Super food!! I had shrimps!!! You have to try the dirty banana if you go, soooooooooooo good!! We got home late Sunday afternoon after having a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Now it's time to stay home and get ready for some college football!!!!!!!! ROLL TIDE!!!! I'm so excited I love me some college football!! I have pictures to post and will have to post them later, it's gettin late :) If my child does not start getting up in the mornings Im gonna have a stroke!! If anybody has any suggestions, please let me know! He does not hear an alarm clock and you have to spray water in his face, pick him up, dress him yourself, etc.... its a pain and I'm open to any suggestion you might have~!! After all, he is seven and the five year old does great! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy....

The title sums it all up!!! BUSY! Man does it ever slow down? We seem to have something going on everynight! We just got in from church and are now getting ready to hit the sack to start another day! Just had a minute to blog and thought I would share a little from a study we are doing at church called "Crazy Love". Awesome study! I would encourage you to read the book if you haven't. Tonight we discussed the importance of each moment. Sometimes we get so caught up in the "stuff" that we don't realize that this could truly be our last day. We do not realize how quickly we could be called home. One thing that really stuck out to me tonight was, we don't need to get so caught up in the things of this world like money, sports, etc. that we forget about our real meaning and purpose for this life. We are to love and trust God with our whole heart and when we put our faith and trust in him everything else will work out fine! God is good, all the time!

Another Weekend Come and Gone....

Well, the weekend is coming to an end! This is a good thing I guess since I was on call this weekend! It was a good and relaxing weekend though. Not to bad with work! Friday night we had an Advocare mixer and on Saturday I pretty much stayed at home and cleaned up and done laundry all day! Saturday night we had a sunday school party at Tami's house and it was fun, but of course I got called in just as soone as we started to eat! The joys of being on call!! I have pretty much stayed home all day today just relaxing and getting ready for another week, accept when I got called in!! I did get to watch the movie "Date Night" this weekend and it was so funny!! Great movie if you havent seen it! Okay so not much to report this weekend. Hope everybody has an awesome week!

I almost forgot to wish my daddy a Happy Birthday today!!! So, Happy Birthday Dad! Hope you have a wonderful day!! Jesse says he figures your probably at least 50, but you might be in your 40's!!!!

The First Week....

Well, the first week is almost over! The boys have had an awesome week at school. Jake is really enjoying kindergarden so far. Of course, he loves his teacher!!! Jesse is also enjoying school and his first week of second grade! Yes, Jesse has already gotten in trouble for??? What else but talking!!! Guess he got that after his mom!!!! LOL So far we are off to a good start! The weekend is coming up and I have to be on call YUCK! So, it's gonna be a not so fun weekend for me!!! :(

Tonight we have the big Advocare dinner. The President of Advocare will be coming to speak and it's gonna be an awesome time!! I will be recieving my "Silver Pin" tonight. The President will actually present me with the pin!! Yeah go me!!! It's just the silver, but hey it's a step!!!

School, Great Weekend...

My sweet baby boy started kindergarden on Thursday :( It's so hard to beleive that he is finally starting school. Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday that he was being born! He enjoyed his first day and everything went well! We will see how this week goes!

Friday night I went to see Sugarland in concert! Wow, they are awesome!!! They are my favorite!!! The boys spent the night with a friend in Andy and had so much fun!

I picked them up Saturday around lunch time and we came home. We enjoyed hanging out around the house just cleanin, cutting the grass, and washing my car!! We then went and ate supper at Church's with my grandparents. There is nothing like chicken!! We then went over to Tamara's and the boys played in the pool while me and the girls done some crafts!!!

Sunday we got up and went to church. The boys hung out with their daddy and I hung out at the house just resting, ironing, and washing!! Yuck!! Now the kids are in the bed and we are ready for an exciting week of school!!

Hump Day...

Wow, it's been a crazy week so far!!! The weekend was so busy. I dont think I slowed down at all. Back to work on Monday and busy trying to get things ready for school. We had kindergarden registration for Jake on Tuesday night and then Jesse has his today. Of course, Jesse was all excited and ready to go back and see his friends. Jake on the other hand, was not a happy camper! He did not want to go and held on to me the enitre time, but after seeing everything I think he settled down. He did go back with us tonight for Jesse's and was excited!! I think he will do good on Friday! I think I'm just as nervous as he is or more so! LOL We did get pictures made on Friday and of course I want to share some with you!!!
