Happy Friday!!!!

WhooHooo.... it's finally Friday!!! It's been a long week, but alot accomplished. It's school time again and even tho fall is not in the air, because it is 100 degrees outside, school is starting and football is around the corner!!! Jesse will be startig the second grade and will be in Keri Johns class. Jake will be starting kindergarden and will be in Amanda Ellison's class. I can't belive the both have such great teachers and Im such good friends with both. It's such a peaceful feeling knowing they will be in good hands!!! Of course they always have been!! You always worry about who their teacher is gonna be and how the school year is gonna go!!! We are excited!!! We got our backpacks in, got school supplies, and some new school clothes so we are ready to go!!!

We have got a busy weekend. I am having the boys pictures made Saturday and I'm so excited its been awhile since we've had pictures done!!

WHY????

Why do some things have to be the way they are? Why is it that some people can do everything with their kids and be involved in everything? Do some people just not have to work and get to spend all their time with their kids? I guess so!! Don't get me wrong I enjoy working and I am not stay at home mom material, but geez....... I would like to be able to enjoy some things they do!!

I know your thinking where is this going? Well, glad you asked!!! My big boy Jesse was asked to play in a baseball tournament tonight in Brewton. They will be playing two games. Now, granted we did not find out about this till the end of last week so not much time to prepare, but of course this is my weekend to work:( I'm on call this weekend and will not be able to go. His dad, Rob, Pooh, nana, and my grandmother will be there to cheer him on. I know he will do great!!

It would be so nice if I had a job like everybody else to where I could enjoy my boys. Guess what though? It is coming SOON SOON SOON... More to come on that later!!!

So, let me just say Good Luck to Jesse tonight!! Hit one for mommy!!!

Vacation

We had an awesome time at the beach!! We spent lots of time by the pool!! We went to Gulf Shores with my dad, Janet, Anna, Sara, and Anna's friend Kendall. It was so nice getting to spend some time with the family. Of course I have pics to share!!! It was Jake's birthday so that was why we had the "Bee" cake for him!!

I just wanted to do a seperate post of a very special picture!! I went last night to check on the boys before I went to bed and this is how I found Jake!!! Is this cute or what??? I had to get a picture!! He will soooooo see this picture again one day and I'm sure it will embarass him!!!

Jake's Birthday Party

Well, Saturday was Jake’s birthday party at the Wellness Center in Opp. He turned “5” and had his first swimming party. A few of his friends came and enjoyed the fun! Jake loves Spongebob. So, he had a spongebob cake. The boys had lots of fun swimming and playing in the pool. After the party, Jake and Jesse’s friend Hunter Holmes came over and spent the night. The enjoyed playing together till late Saturday night or should I say early Sunday morning!!!! I got up and got dressed and got them dressed and we made it to Sunday School. Wow, I couldn’t believe it, but I have to say 3 is easier than 2!!!! I don’t know why it just worked better!! Sunday afternoon we had an Advocare training that I went to and it lasted till late Sunday night.

For those who have never heard of Advocare it is a great product. If you need energy, weight-loss, or just a nutrional supplement Advocare is for you!!! I have started selling it and would love to tell you about it!!!

Baseball, Birthdays, and Summer...

Well, we finally made it to Friday!! I always love Fridays, but not when they are like today! It's been a wild week. Maybe one day it will slow down in a good way! For the ones of you that do not know I have started selling Advocare products. Wow, what great stuff. If you have never heard of them or are interested in learning more please let me know! Advocare is nutritional, weightloss, energy and a performance line. Awesome products! So, if you need to shed a few pounds or just need some energy at the end of the day Advocare might be for you!! So, Advocare is keeping me a little busy these days, with work and my boys!

We have a birthday party this weekend! My Jake is turning "5"!! WOW, it seems like only yesterday I was getting ready to have him. He will be starting school this year, how exciting!

We are suppose to be going to the beach most of the week next week, but with my work who knows if that will work out:( We do kids have to suffer from unfair workplaces??

If you remember in a previous post I posted about the biscuits game and lake time. I also said that I left my camara on the pier at the lake, but I picked it up today so I have some pics for you!!

Busy, Busy, Busy...

I didn't realize it had been so long since I blogged!!! I enjoy doing it and love going back and reading different posts. Well, it's been so busy lately!!! I just want to share some from the weekend, it was great! Friday night I went to Boggs and Boulders and had a blast! It was kinda late when we got home on Friday night, so we slept in on Saturday morning before heading south. We rode down to Destin and the traffic was horrible. We were actually on the toll bridge in slow moving traffic for thirty minutes or longer. I got to eat at Hooters!! I don't know why I like eating there, but there food is so good to me. I love their buffalo shrimp!! Yummy! After eating we went down to the beach and hung out a while, before heading back to Opp. Sunday me, my dad and the boys went to a Biscuits ballgame in Montgomery. It was wonderful and of course the boys loved it! They had fireworks afterwards which were great! We got home late Sunday night and spent the night with my dad at Gantt. Monday we just hung out at a friend/neighbor up at Gantt and grilled out. Of course, the boys had a great time with their paw-paw riding the boat and swimming. We got home late Monday afternoon just in time for me to do laundry and get ready for another week. It was a great weekend!! I did take lots of pictures, but left my camera at Gantt :(!!!! Man you gotta love three day weekends; sleeping in, food, and good time!!! Hope everybody enjoyed their 4th!!!

Busy Week!!

It's been a very busy week! This week has been much better than last week. Tommorrow is Friday thank goodness! I do not have to work this weekend so that is always good!!! I hope to spend some time and the gulf this weekend and then will be taken my boys to the Biscuits game on Sunday! I took Jake to the doctor this week. He is still having some speach problems and we took him to the ENT to make sure everything is going as planned. The doctor is concerned that he has some allergies. We have always known that he had some, but never had him tested. So, you know what that means he wanted to get him checked. He told me they would have to draw blood to check him. I convinced them that he would be fine and they could probably do it in the office. Boy, was I wrong!!! He screamed and screamed!! Four people could not hold him down. He was just hollering "let go of me", "don't touch me", etc. It was funny because the lady told him she would give him a certificate for ice cream and he said "I don't want any ice cream"!! They ended up having to send us to teh hospital, because he was so loud! We went over there and the entire time I was trying to get him registered he was saying "mom please dont take me to the hospital". Little did he know we were at teh hospital. We went around to the lab and believe it or not he done good. Now, don't get me wrong he did scream bloody murder, but there was a man there that was alot more stronger than the one at the doctor's office. Anyway, it went fine! We got done and he was like "it didn't even hurt"!! I was like if only you had listened to me we could have been gone an hour ago!!! We go back in a couple of weeks to get the results and he will be getting a hearing test then. Of course I have a picture of him while we were waiting for the doctor!!!
