They Grow Up Quick

Today was not your typical Monday, it was worse! Work was absolutely horrible today just alot of stuff I can't go into. I guess we do have those kind of days occasionally! I was suppose to leave early to to Jake to Kindergarten Screening at OES and of course I was late leaving. I had to rush to BKK (Becky's) and pick up the boys and then we rushed over to the school just in time! Wow, it seems like just yesterday I was taking Jesse and now its Jake's turn. They do grow up in a hurry! For those of you that have little ones you better cherish every minute! We get to the school and park and Jesse gives Jake a high five and says to him "Jake this is your big day so don't be scared do good"! I laughed and we started inside. As, we got inside Jesse began to tell Jake where everything was; the office, lunchroom (and which table he set it), the bathroom, his class, etc.. It was too cute! We went into the library were they were doing the screening at and Jake FROZE. He grabbed onto my leg and would not let go. We knew pratically everybody in there, but that didn't matter! They needed him to sit down at the table and draw a stick person on a sheet of paper and write his name. He was like forget that! Mrs. Boothe began to show him some pictures of Logan (Jake's bestfriend) and how good he had done. At this point he thought he would be okay as long as Jesse sat there with him!! He did good and they took him into another room for his sight and vision test. He didn't cry anymore, but he definitely held onto me and was ready to go when it was time!! We got out to the car and I asked him why he had gotten so upset? He of course said he didn't know, but assured me he would not cry the first day because Logan and all of his other friends would be there!! Too cute huh? Jesse did not cry at all when I took him and never cried at school until this year! I would never ever have thought Jake would have, but then again each child is different. It's so hard to believe that he will be starting kindergarten this upcoming school year. They are both asleep now and as we were getting ready for bed Jesse told Jake he would not be taking naps next year like he is doing at BKK right now. He also told him by the time it was time to go to bed he would want to do nothing else, but go to sleep!! It seems like only yesterday I was begging and pleading them both to go to sleep. It's hard to believe they are growing up so fast!

1. I hope to start my own ultrasound business one day SOON!!
2. I used to be terrified of dogs in my younger years.
3. I have quit drinking regular soft drinks and now only drink diet drinks or water.
4. My first car was a blue pontiac grand am.
5. I lived in Troy and went to school there for a while.
6. I took voice lessons once! You may not believe it now!!
7. I took cloggin while in school at Troy and did not do very well!
8. I climbed up a ladder onto the top of my parents house when I was small. This was because my grandaddy was up there!
9. I have been to Florida, Georgia, Texas, Montanna, Canada, Tennessee, Mississippi.
10. I went on a cruise two years ago to Cozumel.
11. I recieved my bachelors degree in Business Administration.
12. I had my wisdom teeth taken out during one of my high school years the week of Thanksgiving.
13. My favorite channel is HGTV.
14. I take call for the hospital in Andalusia one or two nights a week.
15. My hair is naturally curly and full of body.

17. I got a speeding ticket recently for doing 69 in a 55.

22. I do not like roaches at all. One night after I first got married I called my grandaddy to come to me house and kill a roach. Needless, to say he didn't and I had to manage killing him with a broom from a distance!!!
23. I really use to love and enjoy fishing, but not anymore.
24. When I was a teenager I was opening some craft paint in the living room and it squirted all over the ceiling in the living room!! My mom was not a happy camper!
25. I do not like Japanese food, but boy do I love some Mexican!!!

Just A Monday

Well, we made it through another Monday! We were not to busy today, just your normal Monday stuff. I was able to get home early today. I picked the boys up and came home for some family time. We came home and I cooked supper!! I tried grilling some fish, apparently I don't have the touch for that. The kids liked it and I guess that's all that matters! We did homewok, got baths and were done by 7 pm! We then had some Wii time together!! We were right on schedule tonight and the kids were in bed by 8!! Now I get "mommy time" for a little while before turning in for another night! Jesse has ballgames Thursday and Friday night this week so we have the first part of the week off. Just want to mention a few things that will be going on in our life coming up: Jake Graduation for BKK 5-27, Jesse Baptism 5-2, Field Day 5-7 and the Zoo trip at BKK will be 5-4. I was able to go to the zoo with Jesse so I managed to get the day off so I can go with Jake's class, which is a class of 30. Yeah thirty 5 year olds!!! Hope everybody had a good Monday!

My First Blog

WOW! I can't believe I'm actually doing this!!! I have gotten into a habit of reading everyboy else's blog and thought I would try it!! I think it would be a great way to unwind at the end of a day and put my thoughts down. So, hang with me as I try to get use to everything!! I managed to get a pic of my wonderful boys on for you and will try to get some more on soon!!! Hope everybody had a good weekend, I know I sure did!! The weather was beautiful!!! Actually, got a chance to go to the beach on Saturday and it was great! I could use a much needed vacation down there for about a week!!! Its was so nice!! Okay, I'll try to blog again soon!!!
